A letter from us

We didn't set out to build another social network.

We set out to fix something broken. Campus life gets buried in group chats and flyers you walk past. You miss things you'd have shown up to. That bothers us.

So we said no to the playbook. No algorithms. No vanity metrics. No feed engineered to keep you inside longer than you wanted. We wanted to build something that actually gets you out of the app and into the room.

We believe apps should get you to real life, not replace it. Success for us is you at an event, not minutes spent in the app.

That belief doesn't stop at the product. It's how we try to live.

How we live

The principles we build by, and live by.

  • Be around people who lift you higher.
  • Be curious, not judgmental. Ask questions before you assume.
  • Choose action over talk. Networking over vanity. New perspectives over echo chambers.
  • Always be learning. Do the hard work to make things simple for others.
  • Experiences over things. Understand the past, enjoy the present, plan for the future.
  • Choose respect over hate. Seek understanding.
  • Focus on solutions, not politics. Practice self-awareness.

That's what we're building toward.

Our attention is limited. So is our time on campus. We'd rather spend both on things that matter.
